Important:
When downloading the ScoreTests 2005v1.xls file you MUST
Save the file to your hard drive before Opening the file.
I suggest saving the ScoreTests 2005v1.xls file in the 'My Documents'
folder of the C: drive of your computer. Then you may simply double-click
on the '!ScoreTests 2005v1.xls' filename in the 'My Documents' folder
whenever you wish to score a test or quiz.
When you open the original !ScoreTest 2005v1.xls file or a created test or
quiz file, a new menu item, Scoring, will be added to the usual
Excel Menu Bar. It will simplify the process of creating a new test or quiz
file or adding more students to an existing test or quiz file. When a new test
or quiz file is created, its filename will include the semester, course code,
and section number for the specified exam, (i.e. Q4 Sp05 ENG101-05.xls). When
starting a new test or quiz, if you specify a GB gradebook file, created with
my GB Builder program, the ScoreTest workbook will simplify the entering of
student names for you. The new scoring workbook will also be placed in the same
sub-folder as the gradebook file. If you have any suggestions or problems contact
